Uro-Oncology & Robotic Surgery
Dr. Prashanth's primary subspecialty is the surgical management of urological malignancies using robotic and laparoscopic approaches. He has performed 200+ robotic procedures across the full oncological spectrum at Safdarjung Hospital before joining KIMS.
- Robotic Radical Prostatectomy (RARP) — nerve-sparing for prostate cancer. He has also been involved in the TULSA-PRO programme at KIMS — India's only incision-free prostate cancer treatment.
- Robotic Partial Nephrectomy — kidney-sparing surgery for renal tumours. Zero-ischaemia technique for maximum preservation of kidney function.
- Robotic Radical Nephrectomy — for larger or more complex tumours.
- Robotic Radical Cystectomy (RARC) — for muscle-invasive bladder cancer. He has performed numerous intracorporeal diversions — both ileal conduit and orthotopic neobladder — representing the most technically demanding robotic urological procedure.

Neuro-Urology

Stone Disease
Complete endourological management of kidney stones — RIRS with holmium/thulium fibre laser, PCNL and Mini-PCNL for complex stones, and ESWL for appropriate stone size and location. Specialised in laser surgeries for prostate and stone.
Reconstructive Urology
